"Peter Jennings diagnosed with lung cancer NEW YORK (AP) -- Peter Jennings has a lot on his mind right now since he's been diagnosed with lung cancer. Since he's going to have chemotherapy he's wondering 'if other men and women ask their doctors right away: `O-K, doc, when does the hair go?'' That quip came at the end of his newscast last night, in a taped message to viewers. Jennings says as long as he feels O-K, he'll keep working, even through chemo. And, even though he just went public about his condition yesterday, he says he's been overwhelmed by the outpouring of concern about his health"

God has spoken to me and told me to write this need. Maybe there is an angel who can help me. I was fired from my job 2 weeks ago after not wanting to falsify financial papers for my boss. Anyways, God has met every need and now my rent is late and I owe $510 + $25 and $1 a day for every day I am late. I am just expecting that this need will be met through business increase or by someone offering to help. I post this need in obedience. I know there are a lot of scams online and I can give you my land lords name and number, you can even pay them direct if someone is reading this and can help! Or simply hit my donate button on my blog.

I expect this miracle to happen this week, In Jesus Name!

Panic Attacks, Anxiety GO AWAY!

I am giving my panic attacks and anxiety and all the symptoms and problems associated with it to God! I am tired of being short of breath and dizzy every time I wake up, or do anything! It even cost me a job (although if my boss wasn't the way he was I would not have had that severe of panic attacks!) I ask and expect healing through-out my whole body in JESUS name! AMEN!

Prayer for strength and guidance

Today I have to face a man who abused me as a child, well I don't have to. We are having a family get together today at my parents house. I don't know if I can socialize with him as if nothing happened. I never told anyone about him. I have asked God to speak to me about this and He guided me to write this. I have forgiven him for what he has done to me, but that does not mean I want to socialize with him. I have forgiven my parents for sending me to his house to live as a child even though they knew he had some devious ways in the past. I believe God is telling me to stay home but I am still listening and waiting on Him to speak to me. I will post my answers here. Maybe it can help someone reading this.

If you can work at home to be with your kids, then do it!

Writers - Get Off Your Behind!

Wow what a great article! This is so true about writers (especially bloggers!) there is a boat load of places for us to submit our work to! I need to start submitting my articles again, there are so many news issues that I am passionate about that I would love to submit!

On a different topic...

Today I was searching some job listings and I saw another shooting spree at a school in Minnesota. This is why I would love to be able to telecommute or freelance so that I can work at home! I want to be with my son as much as possible and still be able to support myself! I ran my own business for over 10 years, I can do it again!

Well I have been downsized and am now out of a job. It is a blessing because I would have quit anyways if I was not laid off. Real panic set in today Lord when my car payment was due, but somehow I know you will provide me what I need each and every day and that you will guide my feet, my mind, my mouth and my actions according to YOUR will. I KNOW you have something special in mind for me Lord and I am asking for my blessing today and every day! I ask that You enlarge my territory and that Your hand will be with me and keep me from evil so I may not cause harm...and God granted Jabez just that as in I chronicles 4:10 and I am expecting the same for Kenny and I. I am putting all my faith into You Lord!

Praise God! I got a new car!!!

Wow. God is so good!! This week again I was having problems with my '95 Dodge Grand Caravan and it had so many problems that I would have to spend about 4 months of new car payments just to fix the minor problems. So I stopped and I prayed. I asked God if it was meant to be that you would open the door for me to get a car. I have awful credit due to life circumstances so me getting financed would be a slim deal. Then God just spoke gently to me during the whole car buying process. Now I have a Chevy Cavalier. God is SO good! I looked at a Saturn and the salesman tried to put the keys in the car and the key would not turn, so I took God's gentle guiding and we looked at a few other cars and when I saw the Cavalier I KNEW that was the car I wanted. It is a lot smaller than my van and it is going to take some getting used to but it should be much better on gas than that van.

Thank You Jesus! I believed that you would come through and as always You did! Thank You!

Prayer for financial increase

Dear Lord

It seems that every time I sow seed into ministries that I care about, especially if I haven't done it in a while, satan comes to seek, kill and destroy what I have planted. For the last two weeks Bank Of America has decided to fleece my account for bank fees of $34 for EVERY time I used my debit card to make a purchase, we are talking average ticket items of $20 or less. In the past 2 weeks Bank Of America fleeced my account of over $400 in just "NSF fees" but the sad part is I had the money in the account when I made the purchases, anyways, the bank has credited me only 3 of the NSF fees. I told them to cancel my ATM card since that is why my account went under, so now they can not fleece my account.

Well for the last 2 weeks Bank Of America has "Stole" my direct deposit of my pay so I was not able to buy groceries or pay for my sons Day Care which is $70 a week and put gas in my car to go to work. I had to ask for $0.65 so I could get a soda at work!

I just pray for increase and blessings and a return of what satan has stolen. Fortunately I have some food in the house and 1/4 tank of gas and I just KNOW and BELIEVE that God will increase me and I Thank Him for it right now.

In Jesus holy name... Amen!

Thank You Jesus for healing Kenny. His fever is going down along with the swelling in his lymph nodes. Out of the blue my parents offered to watch Kenny for a few days. I did not have to ask! Praise God for small miracles! Continue to bless us daily Lord!

Guidance about Kenny being sick and me missing work...

Prayer to God:

God, I am confused. My son is still sick with a cold or virus. There are a lot of people sick in school and even at my job. I was even sick last week with a stomach flu and you blessed me with a quick recovery. Praise You Lord!

I have no support at all. I have no one that I can count on for anything. Kenny's Grandparents are too busy to be bothered with him when I need help from them. When I state that I need help with Kenny I am always told "You are not the only mom who works and has to raise a child" I can bring Kenny to work with me, but with Kenny's asthma it is not a good place because my boss smokes cigars and the fumes from the chemicals we use at work make things worst and it did Friday when I brought Kenny to work with me.

I see You nudging me in the same direction again when I was working at Knight Ridder as a graphic artist when it was just Kenny and I and Kenny was always sick. You blessed me with a strong business and I was able to care for Kenny better by always being there for him. I ask for your guidance. I need to go to work and I also need to be home with my son. Lord Guide me and bless me as you see fit.

Amen. I thank you right now for the blessings you will give Kenny and I.

How to Start a Prayer Journal. Few things can nudge us toward God more than the keeping of a prayer journal. What is a "prayer journal"? Well, if prayer is the ongoing interaction we have with God, and a journal is a record of those experiences and thoughts we deem valuable, then a "prayer journal" preserves those interactions, events, and reflections from our external and internal worlds which track our personal history with God.
